A copy of the legendary Baltika-1 spoon, popularly known as the “St. Petersburg banana”, got its name due to its curved shape. This bait was originally developed by Soviet engineers as a pike bait. This wobbler, spoon, has proven itself to be excellent for catching pike, perch and other predatory fish. Even in Soviet times, when there was no such abundance of baits, fishermen began to actively use this wobbler to catch salmon, the bait turned out to be extremely effective. Among fishermen in the Baltics, this wobbler is extremely popular and is one of the standards for catching trophy fish.
